What is the SpeakerBooth?
If you were in Toronto during the 90s/early 2000s (the best of times) you probably remember Speaker’s corner on CityTV. The little booth where thousands of people shared their stories, advice, messages, or songs that eventually got famous! This is what inspired us to create SpeakerBooth, the new, and improved digital video guestbook & photobooth. There is no videographer or person behind a camera watching you while you nervously record a message; rather, guests are in control and get to record messages in their own space and pace! If they want they can record multiple takes and our pro video editors will only take the best shots and put that in the final edited version.
Why should I get the SpeakerBooth video guestbook?
Don’t just entertain your guests, let them create their own digital experience with our video guestbook.
Whether you have an event for 50, 300 or even a 1000 people, each and every one of those guests has something to share -don’t miss out on the opportunity to connect with them. Our innovative videobooth offers an easy to use, completely automated system for guests to have fun and leave candid messages, songs, dances, or heartfelt memories. All the recorded videos become a keepsake for the host for years to come.
Is this the same as a photobooth? What’s the difference?
Photobooths are sooo last year. (Just kidding, we love our photobooth). While photobooths usually just give the event guests a chance to take pictures, have fun and get a printed keepsake, the Speakerbooth video guestbook provides a more immersive, engaging experience for both the guest and the host. The guest get a chance to candidly share a message, song, dance, heartfelt message, product testimonial and more, while the host gets the final edited compilation of all the videos.
Why not just have a videographer film people?
Unless you’re a movie star with loads of experience with tv interviews, it’s awkward and sometimes nerve-racking to record a video message knowing someone is watching you. The Videobooth gives you your space, time and lets you choose when to record with our super easy to use touchscreen menu. If you make a mistake or want to perfect your zoolander face feel free to record again!

Anywhere! Our high quality camera, sound and lighting will capture amazing videos even in the loudest or darkest of environments. The Speakerbooth can go anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area region but we are flexible to travel outside our service area with a travel fee of $0.50 per kilometer.
How many people can fit in the booth?
Upto 8 people can comfortably fit in the booth and be seen on-screen but ideally 4-6.
How soon is the final product delivered?
A professionally edited compilation video is normally delivered within 3-4 weeks after the event.
How good is the quality?
Our high definition camera records at Full HD quality, our audio is high fidelity and sound isolating, and our professional studio soft box lighting will make guests glow and look like stars (but won’t highlight blemishes). To check out some samples, Click Here
Will I see myself on screen?
Yes! You will be able to see your lovely face on the widescreen before and during the video recording along with a timer to show how much time you have left.
